“It is the way of all governments, when they tend toward
Socialism, to take charge of a nation’s youth.
The reason is twofold: The government
first wants a complacent younger generation imbued with its ideas so that the
system will be made permanent. The
second reason is that no socialistic government seems to think that parents are
capable of caring for their young, especially in the educational field.”
(In speaking with my friend Charlie Smith today he told me
that the way to fix the educational system would be to get rid of the Truancy
Laws. This would give the parents the
choice where they can educate their children.)
